Live Music Spring Sign Up


Hello Musicians,

We're using SignUp.com (the leading online SignUp and reminder tool) to organize our upcoming SignUps.

Here's how it works in 3 easy steps:

2) Review the options listed and choose the spot(s) you like.
3) Sign up! It's Easy - you will NOT need to register an account or keep a password on SignUp.com.

Note: SignUp.com does not share your email address with anyone. If you prefer not to use your email address, please contact me and I can sign you up manually.

RULES FOR MUSIC SIGN UP

  1. Our sign up sheet will be processed entirely online via Sign-up.com. 

  2. On January 9th, at 8:30 pm a mass email will be sent to the email address you are currently reading from and link posted on the website. This is the link to the sign-up for all Saturdays in this sign up range. 

  3. In sign-up, you will be able to sign up for 2 Saturday's between 1/12/2019 and 4/27/2019.

  4. There will be 16 Saturday's in this round of sign-ups, so it is possible you will not receive a spot. It is your responsibility to sign up for a date. If all dates are filled, you will have to wait for the next round of bookings. I apologize to anyone who doesn't get a spot this time around, but there are always more musicians than days in the year, and we encourage you to keep trying back each sign-up session. 

  5. You may not sign up for two Saturdays back to back; this means there must be at least one week in-between your scheduled dates. If this rule is violated, one date will be deleted and filled by another person. Possibly without notice

  6. You will receive a reminder email a few days before your scheduled date. 

  7. Any cancelations must be made on the calendar so that another person can fill in. 

  8. You may not exceed the (2) Sign up limit even if someone else cancels a date. 

  9. You may swap dates with another musician but must not violate the 2 Saturday rule. 

  10. There is a $100 flat rate paid by HFM for the day. You are allowed to provide a tip jar. (In fact, I encourage it, the people of Haile are very kind.)

  11. Do not contact any market staff asking a date to be held for you. There are no holds and any persistent asks for special treatment will result in your email being removed from this list without notice. 

  12. There will be no compensation for a musician that is more than 20 minutes late. 

  13.  There will be no compensation for the inability to play because of inclement weather. 

  14. There will be no compensation for a double booking. (Payment will go to whoever was scheduled first or on sign-up.com)

  15. A more detailed list of rules will be provided on the sign-up page. Musicians are scheduled to arrive at the market at 8 am, this is to allow for parking and set up time. Music is to start when the market opens at 8:30 am.
